"Technology is a gift of God. After the gift of life, it is perhaps the greatest of God's gifts. It is the mother of civilizations, of arts and of sciences."

―Freeman Dyson

At the beginning of 2025, I had an idea to work on building something for the world. I had considered many things, such as the outlook of the job market as a CS student, the turbulent economy due to political changes, and the discontent I had with my personal growth and achievement. So I thought to myself and remembered how the greats responded to times of crises.

Isaac Newton was a student at Cambridge when he had a summer lockdown due to the plague that led to him discovering one of the foundations of Newtonian Physics in gravity. Einstein was a dejected clerk at a patent office, slaving away at work but dreaming of general and special relativity. Most of history's biggest sparks came during times of unease, of internal and external pressure. These circumstances acted as the catalysts for breakthroughs of all kinds, scientific and technological. For those who hold faith in the Divine, sometimes, chaos can be the supernatural acting on the natural to birth change in a way that can only be attributed to a higher Being.

So I thought, "What difference is there between their challenges and mine?" or rather, "What approach ought I to take in these times and what spirit ought I to emulate?" A couple of friends and I considered how similar our circumstances are to our heroes. Born as Gen-Z, survived a global pandemic and a lockdown, and currently in school majoring in CS and Cybersecurity in a 'cooked' market. Everything around us is screaming, "QUIT!". But why? Why listen?

With the present advancements in technology, what could be hindering us from building something useful to the world?

And so the question came, "Why not now?"

This is the driving statement of this enterprise.

We believe change and solution-driven innovations don't wait for benchwarmers and calculated procrastinators. It belongs to those who will seize opportunity at its instance and with a combination of skill, grit, careful timing, luck, and a vast load of supernatural help.

WNN is a tech startup focused on building useful solutions for the world. We believe in moving quickly, building hard, and shipping fast.

This is who we are, and this is what we believe.
